AS SSD Benchmark shows similar sequential read performance to what was seen when testing with CrystalDiskMark. Both the 256GB and 512GB versions of the Crucial MX100 were able to max out the SATA 6Gb/s bus with roughly 500MB/s.

Again we see when measuring sequential write performance that the MX100 512GB comes close to maxing out the SATA 6Gb/s bus, while the 256GB model is quite a long way off.

The MX100 series excels in 4K-64 thread performance, delivering over 330MB/s for some of the best results we’ve gotten.

The 4K-64 thread write performance was also very good and the MX100 512GB was amongst the fastest SSDs we have tested.

When it comes to read access times, the MX100 series is as fast as mainstream SSDs get right now, as they were just shy of achieving 0.040ms access times.

The write access times are also very impressive taking between 0.060ms and 0.050ms.
