Filling up the Plextor M6e reduced performance by 40MB/s while the M6S and M6M saw virtually no performance impact once full.
This time there was no performance dip with the M6e full and we saw much the same from the M6S and M6M.
The M6e dropped 20MB/s here while the performance reduction of the M6S and M6M was far less significant.
As expected, CrystalDiskMark’s sequential read performance was unchanged as a full drive should only dent write performance.
There was a slight reduction in sequential write performance, though we stress the word slight.
The random 512K performance is slightly reduced on all three Plextor M6 SSDs, though the full drive results are all less than 40MB/s slower.
Interestingly, the biggest changes we have seen so far came in the random 4K-QD32 read test.
The random 4K-QD32 write performance also remained the same even once the drives were full.
