The GTX 480 delivered 28fps at 1080p in Metro Redux while the GTX 580 only offered 4fps (14%) more. The performance jump from the GTX 580 to the GTX 680 was much larger, though at 34% it wasn’t quite as significant as the 40% plus gains seen in Crysis 3 and BioShock. Then-President Donald Trump directed the USTR to create the tariffs in 2018 amid the trade war with China. After the Biden administration took power, the USTR started an investigation into the usefulness of the tariffs and based on its initial findings, granted exemptions for 352 product categories out of a possible 549. Valve launched an initial set of Windows drivers for the Steam Deck handheld in early March. These drivers lacked firmware Trusted Platform Module (fTPM) support, however, which limited installations to Windows 10 only. Valve was also waiting for AMD to get the audio drivers ready. Windows 11 support would arrive later that month. It’s technically possible to dual-boot SteamOS and Windows, but Valve hasn’t yet released a dual-boot wizard to enable this functionality....
The nation’s largest carrier will increase the administrative fee for consumer accounts by $1.35 per voice line starting with the June billing cycle. ViewSonic has included several gamer features in addition to the specs we just mentioned, including RGB lighting, something ViewSonic calls ‘ClearMotion’ (backlight strobing), and black stabilization. This is combined with low input lag and basic support for HDR10 content. Out of the box we noticed the XG350R-C is kind of a chunky monitor, not just in terms of bulk but also the bezels. A lot of monitors are moving to slimmer designs, but it seems ViewSonic hasn’t got the message because it’s bigger than even the Acer Predator X34 which was released back in 2015....
