This week, the European Council and the EU Parliament agreed on a proposal to ban the introduction of new internal combustion engine cars and vans starting in 2035. Many tech fans and enthusiasts were shocked over the weekend by the news that EVGA, one of the more popular AIB manufacturers, would no longer produce graphics cards based on Nvidia GeForce GPUs. As you can see the overclocked Core i3-6100 delivers virtually the same performance using the GTX 960 as the non-overclocked configuration, as well as the Core i5-4430. The Radeon RX 570 is a great value gaming graphics card, but as great as it is, we were hoping we’d evenly get a Turing based GPU that was even better. That didn’t come to happen though, as the GTX 1650 struggles to match the value of even the faster RX 580. The only possible advantage the GTX 1650 has is its power efficiency. Using less power means cooler and quieter graphics cards, or at least it potentially can....

Unsurprisingly, Gigabyte’s mild 5% overclock netted us 5% more performance in The Division, while our custom overclock was only good for a 13% boost. In DOOM, we found a 7% increase for the G1 Gaming graphics card, while our custom overclocks boosted performance by a further 5%. Not exactly earth shattering gains, and this will no doubt disappoint a good many of you.
