The claim comes from leaker ECSM, who has proved reliable in the past by accurately revealing the Alder Lake CPU launch dates ahead of time. They write that AMD will lift the lid on the RDNA 3-powered Radeon RX 7000 series during an official reveal in November. That’s something AMD has already confirmed; the RDNA 3 event takes place on November 3. Something AMD hasn’t confirmed is the RDNA 3 launch schedule....
Actually, you may recall this is something we’ve done before, going back to 2019. The first installment featured the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, RTX 2070 Super, Radeon RX 5700 and RX 580, and the CPUs included the Core i9-9900K, Ryzen 9 3900X and Ryzen 5 3600. If you’ve used a Galaxy device in the past few years, you’ll likely be very familiar with the design of Samsung’s custom TouchWiz skin. Rather than utilizing the stock Android look and feel, Samsung has done some skinning for the sake of skinning, going with mostly dark backgrounds, blue gradients and green highlights. Compared to other UIs and the stock Android appearance, TouchWiz is starting to look quite dated. The front camera is a Samsung S5K6D1YX, which is a 3.7-megapixel 1/5.4" CMOS with 1.12 µm pixels, capable of capturing 2560 x 1440 images in a native 16:9 aspect ratio. This is a tidy update on previous selfie cameras Samsung has deployed, and allows the Note 4 to capture front-facing images that will display natively on the device’s screen. The sensor is paired with a 23mm f/1.9 lens. Right off the bat, the Galaxy Note 4 is an excellent smartphone camera....
Despite the Note Edge’s display being listed as 5.6-inches diagonally, compared to 5.7-inches on the Note 4, the total surface area of the display is marginally larger on the Note 4. Luckily the display uses AMOLED technology, so when the Edge screen isn’t being used (and thus is blank/off) the power consumption from both displays should be very similar. In the GFXBench Manhattan 3.1 test, we’re looking at an 8 percent performance improvement in favor of the Exynos 9810 in the offscreen test, and 14 percent in the on-screen test. However the Exynos 9810 does manage to outperform the Snapdragon 835 with its Adreon 540 to the tune of 22 percent in the off-screen workload. It’s not as good news for the Exynos 9810 in 3DMark’s Sling Shot benchmark....
The new Odyssey G7 brings to the table a 28-inch 4K 144Hz IPS panel aimed at gamers. It’s called the LS28AG700 (usually with even more letters and numbers after that depending on your region), but for this review we’ll be shortening it to the S28 model. Samsung also advertises it as the “Odyssey G70A 28-inch” or the “Odyssey G7 UHD 28-inch” in various countries. In contrast, the original G7 is a 1440p 240Hz 27" curved VA display, otherwise known as the LC27G75T, so clearly these are two very different products and you don’t want to be confusing the C27G7 with the S28AG7 model....

We ran some tests with MSAAx4 enabled alongside HBAO+ which, again, causes a bigger performance hit on AMD cards than Nvidia. As a result, when running at 1680x1050, the HD 7970 GHz Edition averaged only 47fps – the same as the GTX 760. Upping the resolution to 1920x1200 yanked the Titan from its position in the mid-70s, while the HD 7970GHz Edition and GTX 760 were reduced to 40fps....
Splinter Cell: Conviction is the sequel of Splinter Cell: Double Agent released in 2006. Ubisoft originally announced Conviction on May 2007 with the intention of having the game ready by that year’s holiday season. The plan was to bring new elements and improvements to the series formula, but developers struggled to have something solid out in time. After a quiet period they pushed the game for a 2009 release. Ultimately it’s not until now that we receive a new Splinter Cell game....

Bethesda finally revealed some gameplay for Starfield over the weekend. One gameplay pillar that Todd Howard tried to hype up was the game’s emphasis on planet exploration. There are over 1,000 fully explorable planets, which is nice, but with one caveat. Players cannot just fly from space to their landing spot in an immersive way. From orbit, you pick a location to land, and then the game transitions to that area without actually flying there....
Valve just announced that the Steam Deck Docking Station is finally shipping. The company revealed the handheld console over a year ago, and it has been dealing with multiple delays and component shortages trying to bring the official dock to market since then. The Docking Station holds Steam Deck upright and connects to it via a USB-C port. It provides a decent amount of extra connectivity, including three 5 Gbps USB-A ports, Gigabit Ethernet, DisplayPort 1....
The Biden administration announced seventeen recipients of the Presidential Medal of Freedom on Friday. Jobs is one of three to receive the award posthumously, the others being John McCain and Richard Trumka. The award is presented to those who have made exemplary contributions to the prosperity, values, or security of the United States, world peace, or other significant societal, public or private endeavors. Nintendo partnered with Universal in 2015 to bring the gaming giant’s iconic characters and worlds to amusement parks around the globe. Construction on the first Super Nintendo World started in Japan in mid-2017 and was expected to be completed before the start of the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
