The Hyperloop tube running along Jack Northrop Avenue in Hawthorne, Los Angeles, is no more. The Orange County Register reports that the mile-long above-ground tunnel that has sat adjacent to the Space X campus since 2017 was dismantled and hauled away last week. Construction on a Space X employee parking lot is already underway. The Space X tube was a boon for the local contractors that helped build it. A double thumbs up button is coming to Netflix’s TV, web, and mobile apps. Clicking it influences Netflix’s content recommendation algorithm more strongly than the regular thumb up and thumb down buttons the streaming service has used since 2017. At a Goldman Sachs tech conference, Tesla executive Martin Viecha outlined the company’s plan for the next five years while also talking about general trends in the EV industry. According to Viecha, battery supply has improved a lot. For the first time in years, Tesla can secure as many cells as it needs for its automotive and energy storage products.
