In general, the V30 performs well with above average results in most tests. Key benchmarks like web browsing reveal solid performance, particularly in our LTE test where the V30 topped the charts. Video playback was another strong suit for the V30, both in the extremely low intensity 1080p playback test and when streaming a 4K HEVC file over Wi-Fi. It seems that LG’s decision to less aggressively clock the CPU has its benefits too, performing surprisingly well in the high-power GFXBench and Basemark Web battery tests. However for some reason, the V30 didn’t fare so well in PCMark, which seems at odds with many of the other results. In any case, the V30 has good battery life in general.
Charge times for the V30 are average; not too slow but not too fast either, both for total charge times and burst.
