The GTX 780 Ti averaged 65fps with BioShock Infinite playing at 2560x1600, 22% more frames than you can expect from the GTX 780, 19% more than the R9 290X and 25% more than the R9 290. Gigabyte’s Ti pushed that up another 6% for a 32% lead over the R9 290, while the GHZ Edition’s 62.2fps was 4% behind the standard GTX 780 Ti yet 16% ahead of the standard non-Ti GTX 780 – not to mention a 14% and 19% advantage over AMD’s competing cards.
The stock version of Nvidia’s latest Ti-branded card delivered superb performance in Metro: Last Light with 51.7fps, faster than the GTX 690 and on par with the HD 7990 while being 31% faster than the GTX 780, 10% faster than the R9 290X and 17% faster than the R9 290. Gigabyte’s overclocked Ti overtook the HD 7990 to become the fastest graphics card tested here with an average of 53.2fps, 34% faster than the GTX 780 and 14% faster than the R9 290X. The GTX 780 GHz Edition averaged 45.2fps, and while that’s 15% slower than the GTX 780 Ti OC, it was also 14% faster than the standard GTX 780 and 2% faster than the R9 290.
