The graphics in League of Legends reminds me of Blizzard’s 2002 Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, but the game is still massively popular and the good news is that pretty much anyone can play it with just about anything. Discrete GPUs aren’t required and gamers can even play with Intel’s HD Graphics using anti-aliasing along with all the other bells and whistles.
At 1920x1200, the Intel HD Graphics 4600 does dip below 40fps, dropping to just 38fps, though even here the game is still quite playable. The AMD A10-7850K with its R7 IGP had no trouble at 78fps.
Every discrete GPU that we tested was able to deliver 144fps at 2560x1600. Enough said.
