Super PI has now been replaced with MaxxPI² and for this review we are using the 8MB calculation test which will be run in both single and multi-thread mode. First we are looking at the calculation time in seconds and as you can see the results do vary with the MSI X58 Pro-E producing the fastest calculation time. The LANParty UT X58-T3eH8 was the slowest motherboard in this test, while the LANParty JR X58-T3H6 was able to match the Asus P6T Deluxe. The multi thread results were close, with just half a second separating the fastest configuration from the slowest.
Next we are using WinRAR to measure single and multi-thread performance. This application reports no significant difference in performance between the four motherboards.
