At idle the Cubitek HPTX-ICE performed very well, keeping the Phenom II X6 1100T at 22 degrees. The Inno3D GeForce GTX 580 OC was also very cool at 35 degrees, while the Western Digital HDDs were kept at 20 degrees.
The HPTX-ICE maintained its solid performance under full load, roughly matching the Cooler Master HAF X. The graphics card never exceeded 72 degrees, which is the best temperature we’ve recorded (again, tied with the HAF X). The CPU reached 68 degrees, which is solid, though not as good as the Cooler Master Storm Trooper.
