Adobe Photoshop CS4 does not play well with the AMD processors and as a result the old Core 2 Duo E8500 is faster than even the Phenom II X6 1090T, which is obviously a very disappointing result for AMD. This is a perfect example of how hexa-core processors struggle in applications that do not fully utilize more than 4-cores or in this case more than 2-cores as the Phenom II X2 560 and Phenom II X6 1075T delivered virtually the same performance.
